Emily Towe grew up in Cabot, Arkansas and graduated from Cabot High School in 2008. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Ozarks with her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 2012, then later attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and graduated cum laude in May of 2021. During law school, Emily was a member of the Moot Court Board, and earned top grades in both her legal research and writing and client interviewing classes. Emily also clerked for multiple firms and governmental entities in Little Rock during her time at UALR. In April 2021, she was appointed to the University of the Ozarks Alumni Association Board of Directors. In September 2021, Emily became a board member of Arkansas Appleseed, the Arkansas arm of the Appleseed Network, which advocates for systemic solutions to complex problems including access to justice, education, and healthcare, and working with local organizations to conduct policy and legal analyses and develop reform options. Emily currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas.
